I friend of a friend had his Imported WRX stolen some time ago.
The V5 was incorrect in that it did not state that the car was a WRX/turbo.
The car was subsequently stolen and the Insurance company are only willing to payout £2k (the cost of a N/A scoob)
Is there any way of confiming from the Chassis number that the car was indeed a WRX?
I seem to remember someone posting a link months ago for a site that could do this very thing.

Guys between us can wwe give this guy a hand?

The owner of the car tells me that he disclosed everthing to his insurers and it was insured as a WRX.
