Question

My alarm (Clifford Concept) has started going off for some reason. When I check the light it flashes 5 times - I've lost the instruction manual, can anyone tell me what has triggered it.

Cheers......

I've just looked it up for you in my Concept 600 manual, and the answer is..........."your boot is open/ajar".

Good Luck,

More than likely that the bonnet switch has gotten damp dry of the terminal and apply some grease to it, always works for mine

Indeed, or speak to one of the tame alarm installers on the board. Craigamungos comes recommended, and I use (frequently) Max The Clifford Dealer at Maximum Impact - 0113 244 1448.

I'd guess that, like said above, it's the bonnet switch getting damp.

Thumbs up

Whilst on this topic.

I would thoroughly recommend Max as a Clifford dealer.

He fitted mine.

A few weeks ago I was in Cornwall. Cadgwith, if you know the place ...... mmmmmm crab sandwidges... It was a very very hot sunny day. When I got back to the car late in the afternoon and did the necessary to disarm the blackjack device the button came away from the fascia on the last press!!! It had melted!!!

AAARG... phone reception was poor for my mobile in the valley so I drove up the hill to call Max. In the middle of nowhere and without my manual he talks me through deactivation of this feature (temporarily). Max said this was the first time he had heard of this. My car is normally parked in a garage at work or at home so this was the first time it had been left out in sun.

Max is a great bloke. I was very grateful for his help. His installation has been faultless up 'til now - no false alarms.
