i think that i will have a go at cleaning all the sticky goo that is collecting all the dirt on my01, has anyone got any tips on what cleaner to use?pref from halfords so i can collect it tommorow , and any tips on cleaning as i do not want to do any harm

Hate to say it but the (Autoglym) engine cleaner is pretty good but if you contact Mark Underwood he will sell you some stuff called Multiclean which is far better IMO but you'll have to wait for the post!
