Hello everybody

this is to bag your help to solve a problem I`m facing.

I make a deal with someone about a LINK ECU, second hand, but never used(seller said).

now, after fitting and connecting the tunning module, the ECU remains locked; this is, the code in the monitor is " XXX".

according the book manual, must appear a three digit number to be changed in accordance with the original code to unlock the unit.

are there anyone with knowledgment to help me?

thanks in advance

best regards

Hi
Would it not be best to contact the vendor of the ECU to gain the unlock code?

Hi

there are two problems:
1- the code in the monitor is "XXX".accorging manual should be a three digit number.does it mean that the ECU is blocked?
2- starting with that code ( three capital letter X)I can not adjust the code.simply, the adjust buttons don not work ( they work with all other functions).

From memory, the tuning module always shows "XXX". Try ignoring it, and see what happens........

Hi guys

problem solved.

in fact, the code "XXX" means unlocked.
(the manual was downloaded from MRT site and is not updated).
I edited the zone 6 and found the correct code.

thanks and regards
