I have installed a Pioneer DEH-P8400MP which I am more than happy with, apart from it leaves a hole below where the double DIN unit used to be.

I ordered the Subaru part from the GX model which is a single DIN size shelf for oddments etc over a month ago now from my local dealer and they still havent got one.

I cant believe that they do not hold this item as stock anywhere in the country as it is only small and cheap. I was originally told it would take 2-3 days to get!

I am getting fed up at looking at a hole with loads of wires in it so does anyone know any alternative that I can get hold of.

i ordered a similar 'cubby hole' from halfords, i think it's a part listed for a volvo. it came the next day and cost about £10.
it looked ****e until i put it in, but it seems to do the job fine.

Take you unit off and put this one instead, so not only you can play everything but you also have something nice to look at...
