Just be warned - I have it on very good authority that Essex police are currently using a Ford Galaxy, as a mobile speed trap on Essex sections of the M25. Be warned if you see one sitting on the hard shoulder!!

Thanks Chris.
I'll keep an eye out.
Actually that’s bloody typical. Last night I was driving home down a completely dark, unlit 60mph main road that has plenty hills and sweeping bends. This was about midnight and I came across a couple of slowing moving vehicles 35mph. The cars coming the other way were furiously flashing their lights. What I couldn’t see at first was a large white transit with NO lights on weaving down the road. I called to cops who were basically NOT BOTHERED in the slightest. The large van was also foreign in reg.
I tried to explain to the cops that numerous corners, people overtaking, people travelling around corners, do not want or won’t see until its to late a large van weaving down the road with NO lights on. A major accident could happen, possible even a fatality.
But the damn pigs just didn’t care. Flaming ridiculous
, but they have the time to ‘waste’ by sitting on a bridge snapping generally safe motorists travelling 10 or 15mph over the motorway limit, a road that is very safe.

Speaking as someone who recently got done for 74 in a 60 (dual carrigeway and 200 yards before it turns into a 70 limit) I know where you are coming from MRK - grrrr
