Do you have clear indicators as well and drive really fast along the A421 towards the M1?

If so watch out for the rozzers at the cell site just before the motorway roundabout. They are setting up some new fangled trap there, how nice of them......

Where exactly is the new trap you're on about? Thats a bit too close to home for my liking....

 

No I don't have clear indicators - but I will be using 421 at warp speed. Never seen a radar trap in MK (ok in Villages outside yes) - but my detector picks most of em up.

Only place where I am careful is Northampton (they are very active there - thats why everybody I know doesn't go there anymore) - we spend our money elsewhere now !!

This weekend I'll probably be tooling around most of Bucks so look & listen out for a sonic gray blurry thing..

 

Chaps, it is near the cell site thingy. I've seen a 'safety' van there before and unless you have a laser jammer then your detector will be useless, because by the time the detector has gone off you will have been caught (laser detection not radar).

I saw the new sign the other day and then I saw some new raised squares on the road at that point. I don't know what these are but they they don't look friendly!

D@mn right, why don't people vandalise cameras more often? They'll happily attack bus stops, phone box's, toilets and any thing else that's useful but cameras - no!

I passed that way today and did not notice any cameras .. Just two strange looking plates embedded in the road near the Microwave reciever....One on each side of road . Could be a car-counter ?

Anybody up on any new tech devices that might be deployed to rid us all of our cash & licenses ?

Can't say it's an accident blackspot can they - so yup I think maybe it's a car counter. Didn't venture out that way yesterday because we had a BBQ and me got drunk...

I shall keep my eyes open. No radar detector fitted to my motor yet!

 

There is actually a black spot just before the roundabout. I've seen a couple of fatals there so the police are probably trying to slow the cars to that bend.

There is always the dualing option for that road, which will solve that particular problem. Ah, but that means spending cash and not making it.....

yeah - worst road in the area for traffic jams - maybe the council doesn't want anyone leaving MK in a hurry.

 

I noticed new Speed Camera signs from J13 up 421 to MK....

Where did u see them setting up ..

I travel the 421 every day.... r u saying its near microwave transmitter than spans the M1 ? LHS if going southbound towards J13 ....
