Question

hello

Do gatso sites have to have lines on the road for it to be a "real/live" site? I've seen a recently installed gatso but there are no calibration lines in the road

Not all of them do. Some cameras have a sheet of perspex in front of the lens with the marks painted on, so the marks still appear on the photo but not on the road.

Jeesh! That's worrying. Quite a few times I've relied on the calibrations on the road. I'll have to use even more of my concentration that should go on the road on looking out for these tax collection devices.

I think a Morpheous Geodesy, a regular radar detector, a radar/laser jammer and a lot of concentration and some luck should do it.
