Question

Hello all,

I want to dump my jap D/D HU, and replace with my sony single din MD player.

Before I pick a screwdriver up, are there any brackets or blanking plates (even better, a mobile phone sized slot) that I will need to purchase first to fill the gap.

Also, I don't know whether this is a good idea, but is it possible to fit 2x8" free air subs in the back shelf, how much work would be required and would this still give good bass.

I had a JBL system in my last impreza, with a 10" ported JBL sub in the boot. I wasn't too happy with it as I like to have boot space and tighter punchier bass.

Any advice gratefully recieved.

Cheers

Cool

Hi,

I'm just about to replace the Double Din standard unit in my UKsti this weekend. I purchased an adapter tray that is used in the TS models and this gives you a nice pocket for your phone or sunglasses.

You can get this from your local Subaru dealer and is about £13.

Hope this helps
Gareth.

I am selling a brand new Stealthbox, for a 10" boot install, if this helps. Have a look in For Sale section here....
