We actually have a section for this (Drivetrain
) but most scoobs do it, the way round is to either do a couple of standing starts or to bring the clutch up slower for the first few mins, i find that works on my MY00 but it isnt a cure, a lightened flywheel may cure it but there have been many discussions about this and unless your willing to fork out on an aftermarket clutch (helix/ap etc) then your pretty stuck with it

I got the same (MY99 UK). Some of the people here have now had several clutches and all seem to develop it tho I'm told that Subaru now recognise it as a fault and use the P1 clutch and flywheel to replace juddering clutches.
I'll live with it - just fer the first coupla standing starts when cold. Doesnt cause me any bother - just use higher revs for the first few starts.
Craig.
