Hi Scoob lovers! Am trying to seperate the front hub and axle as need to get to the cv joint so can fit a stretch boot. Question is: should I be able to do it without disconnecting the tie rod. Am out of comfort zone here anyway as never ventured this far into this territory... Thanks!
​​​​​​... and the answer was...YES!...but only just. Good job too, 'cos the split pin holding the castle nut in the trackrod end was rusted solid anyway and wouldn't budge.... but that's for another day.
