Default 1998 UK 2000 Turbo headlights

Hi, I'm looking to change headlights on my scoob.
The frosted original are not great for throwing out light. The aftermarket ones I have looked at are Casa crystal clear. Only they are manual beam adjustment and the original are auto beam adjustment. Is it OK to replace and just leave the auto beam connector unplugged ? Or will this cause some issues like a fault light on dash cluster ?
thanks in advance for any tips/advise

disconnect the auto beam adjuster on your current ones and see what happens - id doubt a dash light would be thrown

I replaced the headlights on a MY2000 with Morrettes - no problems with fault lights etc
