Hi everyone,

I have a 2006 Impreza (EJ16) and would like to know which way up the thermostat goes.

On my engine the thermostat housing bolts on from the bottom not from the front like some others. What I mean is that the bolts and thermostat coil sit vertically. Does the coil go on top or underneath?

spring and wax pellet should be on the block side of the housing.......
