It's probably possible.
This is the wiring diag for the JDM MY08-14 WRX STI version of the above, which fits the UK MY08-14 WRXSTI with a minor alteration for the trigger wire due to UK Double locking door locks.



Attached below are the wiring diagrams for the MY07 Forester and the MY16 WRXSTI / LEVORG which seem very similar
The MY07 Forester also comes with the OP Connector (connector D on above drawing) not fitted to pre MY06 Foresters.

 

Cheers. I'd seen what looks to be the same for less on ebay too. We're the instructions clear enough? I saw one ebay that made no sense at all.
