Need to replace all the bushings in my gear linkage as my gearstick flop is unbearable now! I have a 1993 GC8 (pre-facelift), but all the bushing kits etc online all seem to be for later model GC8s... anyone know if I can just use all the same bushings?
in general its the UJ bushings at issue (despite what some so called 'specialists' claim??)
the factory ones are made from a very light poly material and simply degrade over time
we tend to make / supply nylon kits albeit with the the early cars there are a few variations size wise so you would need to measure the UJ bushes required
later kits are NOT suitable as the component parts do not interchange
Ah okay, understood. My other concern is that someone historically has already converted my 92-94 gear linkage system to the later 90s one as the UJ looks the same? Do you reckon it's still the original based upon the photos?
Where am I able to purchase the parts required from you guys??
