Guys,

I am wondering if roof rails from SG5 2005 XT fist my 2006 Cross Sport?

Seems like part numbers are a bit different. They both look pretty much identical (2002 rail is taller and side shape a bit different), but I am wondering if 2002 Rail has the same bolt pattern, so it fits mine 2006.

Please advise. Thank you.

 

Bear in mind that the Cross Sport like the Forester STI has lower profile roof rails to other models..

I repainted my rails and was installing it last night and one plastic part (front) fell down on the asphalt and broken into many pieces There is no way I can fix it.
It is not easy to find used ones for sale. I found ones from the XT version for a fair price. I am ok if the new rails have a higher profile. Just need to make sure that the bolt pattern is the same and that they fit my roof.

 

Is there any rail delete option (to order) for SG5 available on the market?

Having totally misread your first post, XT rails will fit the Cross Sport.


Part numbers Item 1&2 RH and LH Cross Sport/STI; Items 3&4 RH and LH XT


Same XT versions (finished in Satin black) used in both UK and North America

AFAIK No rail delete option for SG Foresters

Thank you very much for your time @Don Clark for the information. Finally, I was able to find a pair of used rails from 2003 Cross Sport, so they have the same lower profile as mine.
