Default Neutral position switch part numbers help

I bought part number 32008AA103 for my MY2000 Forester S-Turbo, but it doesn't match with the connectors that are on the gearbox, see pic.

New switch on the right

Got it from Import Car Parts and they say its the right one and are mentioning the gearbox may have been swapped.
Any suggestions on the correct part number?

32008AA103 is for box WITHOUT oil pump

32008AA113 is for box WITH oil pump

Excellent. Thanks Don. I even mentioned to them that it had the gearbox cooling lines, they weren't able to help.

Sorry Don. That latter part number, 32008AA113, on ICP website has a different pic and much longer cable:

https://www.importcarparts.co.uk/par...art=32008AA113

Whats the source of the one you have in the pic?

The only image I've found that shows the box as well

Does your S-turbo have the gearbox oil pump?
Using a genuine MY00 UK Forester VIN you get offered both

But if you look at the options available

*AA100 superceded by *AA103
*AA110 superceded by *AA113

Thanks.

Yes I definitely have the oil pump. I'm sure that is one of the lines that's in the way, that makes it a bit of a pain to get the switch off itself.

I'm wondering if it will be Ok to just cut the connector from my old switch and solder that onto the new one? Or just order the 32008AA113 and deal with the excess cable length?

The ICP illustration for *AA113 is similar to that used for 32008AA074 (below) which is also used on other Forester models (N/A).

May be worth speaking to ICP again and get them to check the cable length of the *AA113.

Another observation regarding the ICP link you used for the *AA113. It was only apparently fitted to the JDM (Revision A) version of the Legacy B13 twin turbo model in question, but not the UK version.
All later twin turbo models use 32008AA151 which looks like this

How does the brown plug on the loom compare to this brown socket?

Just for clarity
Grey plug/socket is for reverse light (Front switch)
Brown plug/socket is for N/P (Rear switch)
