I accidentally bought what I thought was a bug eye PPP cat off eBay, but in actual fact it’s a milltek with part number MSSUB118.

I can’t find any reference to the MSSUB118 online, but it’s definitely a milltek (rest of system was, the number format matches other Subaru milltek parts, and it has the part no welded on with the same type of tag as the other milltek bits I have).

I’m only running low 300s, and I want a sports cat that is easier to pass than with my scoobyworld one (which has to be super hot).

What are the general thoughts on this one? Does someone recognise these from way back when?

I can see that the cat substrate is significantly higher CPI than my old 100cpi cat, but it’s hard to count the cells per inch by eye

Worth contacting Milltek directly they are pretty decent that way if you give them the product code

Here is the milltek 3" cat on my 08 sti which I believe is 200 cell. Yours looks more cell than mine possible
