Default Forged engine re map ?

so the previous engine was a 2.5 in an Fsti , it now has a forged 2.5 engine , it appears to be running fine after the engine swap , it was re mapped some time ago on the standard 2.5 engine , so the engine is the only thing that’s changed , do i need to get it re mapped again , im not looking for any more power ? 👍

After the expense of forging I think a check would be advisable.

If the compression ratio has changed, it's worth having the map checked, at least.
And I don't know if any engine builder would ensure that the combustion chamber volume would have remained the same after the rebuild; if it has changed, the CR would have changed.
