2003 wrx wagon juddering
Quick question guys
just bought a wrx wagon,
the previous owner said there is an issue with the fuel pump under load it makes the car judder.
The car drives fine if you push the accelerator slightly and not to the floor. The car makes boost and goes too if you give it time without flooring it but at time is fine with the load.
The previous owner said it’s remapped as it was rebuilt and is approx 300bhp, I belive the map was done by jap performance who did a lot of the maintenance work on the car too.
question is what do you guys think it could be?
he said fuel pump so i will be checking the pump to see if it is uprated or standard, don’t want to put a uprated one if it will need a remap again or is that an option i should consider and get it remapped again?

It won't need a remap if you change the fuel pump. It may benefit from a remap if the current pump can't supply enough fuel for the potential boost/power. What turbo is the car running?
