Default 6 speed gear box weight?

Hi all.
By chance does any one know the weight of 6 speed sti gearbox.
I want to know if i can stick it in the back of my bmw 5 series estate

lol iv had one in the back of a subaru justy ,, and then dropped it off at the main dealer who had just given me it ,, there faces was awesome

Lol i can get an adult single bed in the back, im thinking if stick it on 18mm bit of ply it should spread the weight but now i know it only weighs 90 kilos, under 200lbs i think ill be ok.

In the back of a justy👍 showing your roots 🤪

Id love to after reading mike L s thread, but the thing is im in financial limbo, so im hopefully taking it to teg sport from darkest east sussex

I know what you mean mate. Been there many times. It really does put your life on hold.

I take it you're getting it rebuilt/refreshed are you getting carbon syncros put in?

Yes i cant remember the excact wordage bit but carbon rings in the later gears.
