Default How to tell if you have electric folding mirrors

Bought a set of mirrors but they feel very light. Have my doubts pictures of wires will try search forum.

3 wires for mirror motor (up/down;in/out)
2 wires for mirror glass heater
2 wires for fold/unfold)

Heater wires are the two red? ones together at the end or if they are jdm and not heated they will be the fold in/out wires.
Check using a meter or 12v supply.

I don't think they are Electric folding as seen a JDM set and they have 6 wires?

They have seven wires as listed above - similar to the MY08> shown below.


As shown, depending upon market/option packs mirrors do come with or without heating

Looks like will have to get the 12v battery wired up to them to check. Cheers for the info. Will let you know what u find out.
