Default Fitting 08 onwards washer nozzles to a blobeye ?

I just ordered some newer washer jets from icp which they state can be adapted to fit earlier models.
Just got them and they are quite a bit bigger than the hole in the bonnet.
Just wondered if anyone has done the job before ? £40 on nozzles and I don't want to ruin them.

I fitted some Citroen/Peugeot washer jets to my Hawkeye to get fan style jets. Part number was 6438V8. They only cost around £5 too and fitted fine. Not exactly the same shape as the hole but still a snug enough fit to not cause any problems and sit where they need to sit. Work so much better than the original ones. Might be worth considering returning the ones you have?

the citroen ones I have which I wanted to replace, just thought the newer subaru ones would be nice and it stated that they are fittable with slight modding, looks so far like i need to drill the hole out to 12mm and then cut a pair of tabs into that hole as well.
Just hoped someone might have already done it.
