ECU AE800 rom change to AE802

I can get a ECU from a local breaker for 20£ but the connecter pins are damaged and are beyond repair is it possible to change the roms from the ECU to my ECU and wits one do I have to change

Call ecutek and ask them - logic suggest yes, but I don't know whether the eproms are in sockets or will need desoldering.

IIRC they are soldered in and this would be v tricky. Probably easier to redo the connectors and swap the boards that way.
