Default DCCD gearbox capacity

Evening gents,

I removed both drain plugs (although the large one was a hex not torx as speculated) but its taken just over 3.5L and its over-filled past the "F" mark.

I thought these boxes took about 4L

Any concerns with been overfilled? I've read about the suggested overfill for 3rd etc.
Is it under filled and I'm missing something obvious?

I had the car as level as I could but could a slight incline have caused it to not drain fully?

Thanks.

by the "two plugs" comment guessing its a 6spd??

if the car was lying back slightly then oil will be trapped at the rear of the housing and so will never drain correctly

in general terms 5spd cars take 3.5ltrs and 6spd cars take 4ltrs

type & quality of oil in very imnportant
