Default TY752 vs TY754

Hi guys just thought i would ask the simplest of questions, i'm aware 754 gearbox will replace the TY752 if i indeed have the 754 diff, is that all that needs to be changed? does the props and everything else just go straight in from version to version? if this is not the case could someone compile a list of other things i need to change please Thanks Aaron

Just in case it helps - it's not as simple as a "TY754" diff - they came in 3.900, 4.111 and 4.444 flavours.

As above. Assuming you're going to buy second hand, so long as you get the rear diff that came out of the car the 'box did you should be ok. Should meaning that the diff is actually the correct one.

Also, TY754 boxes are 8 bolt, TY752 are only 4, so you need to tap the box and add a bolt for the lower, if memory serves, mount on the starter motor.

Drive shafts and prop don't need changed.

Yeah I was going to get one with the same ratio numbers but just didn't want to repeat the whole gearbox number loads of times, yeah that's basically what I was after if I needed to change anything other than the diff along with the gearbox, cheers guys great help Thanks Aaron.
