Question

I've noticed a small clicking noise, allmost like a cable tie or similar was catching against something. It only seems to happen when on full lock or braking at very low (5mph) Speeds. Anyone any ideas what it could be . i had a quick look , but can't see anything.

Hmm, this sounds like it could be a classic symptom of a worn CV joint...

Hopefully not, as I'm skint. It's going for a service next week. Any idea how much a CV joint is going to cost me?

Sorry, I should have admitted that I'm mechanically clueless and that I only think this because it's exactly what happened on an Astra that I had. It could be, as you say, something very simple like a cable tie or even a stone in your alloys or somewhere.

Re: CV joint: cheap as chips for an Astra, dunno for Scoob
