Motörhead frontman Lemmy has passed after a short fight with cancer. RIP Lemmy - sorry I never managed to see you play live. Still listen to Motörhead regularly.

RIP to a legend, glad I saw them at what turned out to be their last appearance at the Wolves Civic Hall in Nov 2012. I will have a toast to Lemmy tonight.

Absolutely gutted.

Without doubt, one of the world's great characters. This wreck of a planet is now a much emptier place, knowing he's not around no more (in the same way I feel about Rik Mayall's untimely passing). Hell, Lemmy had literally only just turned 70 years young!

Watched most of the service last night. Sad to see him go, but good to see he kept doing what he loved best right to the end. RIP to one of the world's truly unique characters.
