Is anyone else having trouble buying one of these.
I have had on order for 4 weeks now!
Still no sie or sound yet.

Any feedback on the improvements in power and sound please.

PS. Is it worth going for the downpipes as well?

 

More eager to rev, pulls slightly harder to the red line and I slightly deeper and growly exhaust note

Makes the biggest difference, you'll think its a different car!!!

 

Im still waiting for mine from CAR 2 more weeks hopefully.

so i told him to stuff it!!!!!!!

 

Big back order problem at Magnex, not just Scooby Related.
I enquired weeks ago and they said at leaat 4-6 weeks, so I havn't bothered to order yet.

 

I ordered one with the resonator box and it only took 4 days from Halfords. This was only 2 weeks ago.

What's the noise like on motorway crusing?

I want a Magnex BB and non-resonator mid section but not the Downpipe because I think that'll be too loud.

I had the Magnex BB, then added the mid then added the DP.

Wasn't much noise difference after fitting the mid, bit more growly. After fitting the DP on load, eg booting it it makes a lovely growl, its a very nice note, but cruising on the motorway is not a problem at all, I never found it intrusive at all. So much so, I changed my round Magnex BB for a scoobysport

How much should one of these centre sections cost? someone above says £70+p+p is to much, where is the best place to get one?

dont suppose anyones tried a Magnex centre with a Prodrive Back box? just wondering how it would sound..

Retail £59 from magnex(out of stock)you should not pay anymore.
all the places i rung were around that price,except read above.
Magnex with resonator £120 loads in stock,not so POPULAR as the De-cat pipe
BTW im getting one from C A R £50inc vat!!!!!!!!!!!! always found them CHEAP for bits for my cars

Dont mind waiting 2 weeks or more, is that price with or without the resonator, i presume the resonator just makes it a bit more quiet?

C A R is a motorists Accessory place, they have done some really good deals for me recently too, i use the ones in Surrey.

Croydon, Epsom, Sutton are teh 3 i can think off offhand.
