Default Type r advice

Hi I've been out in the rain today in the type r and found the back end to be extremely lively in the wet compared to my Classic sti. Is this down to the dccd and what position should I have this in? The previous owner told me to leave the dccd all the way back. Any help would be appreciated

I got a bit worried at first when the back end stepped out but the front kept pulling me forward! Is it normal for the type r to be lively on the rear end?

Yes very lively compared to a non dccd car, fully back the power split is 65% rear 35% front

I always had it wide open.... I lived dangerously, more so when I had Yoko Pradas on decent tyres make a BIG difference
