Hi all

I'm just looking for some advice before I take any actions.

I've finally been told my new car is ready to collect from the garage. I have been waiting 4 weeks for them and the previous owner to transfer the old private plate off and now the first finance payment is due.
They were meant to take a deposit over 6 weeks ago but there has also been no sign of that leaving my bank account.

As you can imagine I'm not overly happy with the time delays and the salesman's approach of its out my hands regarding the plate transfer. Having been in touch with the dvla over this time period they have made it clear they were waiting on correct paperwork to be returned.

In my opinion the car shouldn't have been advertised for sale before the garage had v5 in their possession as they won't release the car without it so how can they sell it without on.

Any advice welcome
