Unhappy

There is a crack which is now about 3" long on the bottom of my windscreen (under wiper). Has started from where a stone hit windscreen.
Can this be repaired or is it a new windscreen? And if so is there a choice of windscreens for a P1? I remember a topic a while ago about different colour screens and how one was tougher than the other.

Cheers,

Gav

Have had 3 windscreens for the 22B. thankfully due to P1s existing, they are easily sourced in this country.

there is a blue and a green tint, mine were green, I think yours will be too.

Apparently the type r screens are slightly thinner glass to save weight, but I think that both will fit.

They will need clips to go round the side of the screen which secure to the rails that run the length of the a, and c pillars and the roof.

Think these come with. checkt he fit afterwards as it isnt always an easy job.

Remember a lot of ins companies offer a low excess (usually £50) on windscreen replacement and it doesnt affect your no claims bonus etc.

Not directly relevant to this , but as I found to my cost yesterday, the wagon and saloon front windscreens are different sizes - the wagon being about 3cm deeper.

This is a MY01
