Hi everyone, looking for the best clutch for a daily driver with the odd launch. Currently on the stock (crap imo) and have an exedy organic waiting to go in. Would love a paddle clutch but been told there really not good for daily driver with traffic stop starts.


Is there any in-between that would do the job?

Running an Exedy pink 230mm on my wrx running 310 ish and maybe a little more torque, works grand, took a few days to get used to the bite compared to my old standard item but works perfectly inc the odd launch

 

Does it smell funny when launching? The organic ive got is 230mm, has 8 springs instead of 4 though so not sure what that's about.

 

Yea you get the odd whiff if you ride it a little instead of being quicker on dropping it sharply.
