Default oil and coolant temp

Driving the other day and noticed my oil temp was starting to slowly climb. This was quickly followed by the coolant temp quickly rising. oil got to about 130 degrees and coolant was just over 3/4 of the way up the dial when I pulled over. Some steam coming out the top of the radiator but only when it got really hot, but doesn't explain oil temp?

I let it cool down and started up and drove home, same symptoms. Car feels fine, no white smoke/milky oil so don't think its headgasket? am I possibly looking at waterpump?

Never had oil temp over 110 or coolant over half even with full day of brisk driving in the heat.

Gonna strip it on the drive ASAP but want a good idea where to look. any ideas guys...?

Could be an airlocked cooling system.

I'd still get a "sniff test" done to be on the safe side, just to rule out early headgasket failure. Garage will do it cheap.

Then try draining and refilling the cooling system...PLEASE do a search on here under my username for a foolproof way of refilling without airlocking, since THERE IS NO KNOWN WAY TO BLEED THE SYSTEM!
