Default Blobeye bumper fitment

Since having my bumper off for paint and other bits and pieces... it's never sat right on the driver side near the headlight.

Before taking the whole thing off to try and identify what could be causing it - does anybody have a shortlist of clips/bolts I could be missing or even better some photos of how the bumper connects to the car in this area?

Hi mate. Remove the screw just under your wheel arch lining where the bumper meets the arch and firmly pull the side out.
Have a look for the tiny tab on your bumper guide (in picture) it needs to be BELOW the bumper line. I had to redo mine due to the last owner not putting it back right. Unfortunately the one on the other side has snapped all together!

Cheers fella, very helpful.

Got round to popping mine off today to find mine was broken. It's an easily detachable part, I'm hoping it's available on its own...

I cut a tiny piece of plastic from something else and slid it in then pushed my bumper over the top. It keeps it wedged in place and lines the bumper up perfectly.

My blob wagon bumper has this issue on the sides and also looks like this where it meets the bonnet:

I presume I will need to remove the bumper to sought this. Does anyone know if there are height adjusters to sought this or has it just not been positioned on the middle brackets properly like on the sides?

That's strange because where the bumper meets the bonnet there's around 8 clips holding it in place to line it up (at least it is on the saloon).

Good point, I'm wondering if there are some secondary supports on the bumper bar that are not doing their job allowing the bumper to sag...

There are two sort of crumple zones on the bumper supports, they are easy to spot once it's off, or the headlights are out. they bend if you have a small bump, but can be bent back again.

Yep, thinking it must have had a slight nudge in a car park at some point. Thinking it's best to take the bumper off and check it all, only way to get it looking perfect.
