Hi all
Have Any of you guy used that setup ?
I dont like that the retainer have a to Big cutout for the shim and it looks like it could Fall out as its a really low retainer compaired to the oe sti retainer
Is it needed to buy a complete set of shimless buckets to use the supertech retainer in this head ?

Thanks
Skassa

Yes, top retainers are available for the shim type, cannot find the part number at the moment, shimless buckets from V7 onwards will fit diameter wise, just check the length of valve you are using.

Thanks
I have had the valves cut to get the right valve clearance and have just measured a bucket and a shim together
I Cant seem to find the partnumber for another top retainer that would work
They are all in the 5.00-5.10mm range so looks like a normal range for the buckets from a newagde
Shimless would also be best as this engine is going to see some antilag/launch control
Thanks
