hi there we have an 05 reg wide track in for rear diff oil change

is the refill via the sensor in the rear of the diff housing??

if so it seams stupidly tight !!

has anyone come across this before as dont want to brake the diff backing

Yes it does refill from there.... I used a spanner on a jack to crack the nut, easy job mate

Had to use a similar method when i changed mine last year and was a huge relief when the damn thing finally loosened!
