02 WRX dull orange glow from headlight

Default 02 WRX dull orange glow from headlight

one of my headlights is a dull orange glow it looks like a classic edison bulb ive tried a different bulb and still the same and it does nothing on full beam?
can someone please advise

Could be a duff fitting , ie not making proper electrical contact or a break in the wiring,causing a drop in power to the bulb

Check the fuses for headlights in the fusebox in the engine bay.

ahh right ok will do that may make sense as it was a bad connection in between the harness and the bulb and im sure the connection used to break often, and then all of a sudden it wouldn't illuminate again properly. ill check in the morn an post back thank you so far
