Default exporting a car

Sold the impreza today to a.chappy from Belgium what's the deal on the log book and paper work??
As I read it i have to fill in blue export slip and send to dvla and i I keep the sections 1-8.

Shall I put in covering letter saying it's been sold to so and so and address etc.??

Cheers

I think he will need the whole V5 in order to be able to register it in his country, you just send a letter to DVLA informing them.

AFAIK the export slip needs to be sent if you yourself export it to another country.
