Default Head light

hi can anyone give me any advice were to start looking my head light ns keeps turning off about 1 minute after I turn head light on can't see that it is the bulb as I would expect it not to turn on at all .its a o4 wax wagon with halogens?

Could still be the bulb, as it gets warm, a gap opens in the current flow and it turns off.

Could also be wiring related, same thing: as it gets warm, a connection expands and no longer makes good contact.

Are they standard headlights? Or uprated? Or even HID aftermarket?

Hi cheers for your response they are after market hid .which after inspection the ballest was covered in white fluff next to battery which I am guessing is water damage for the hassle of trying to find replacing when both sides were odd units I just ripped them out and went over to standered h1.

Exactly what I would have done.

I guessed a possible HID conversion, hence my question....the ballasts are notorious if cheap.
