They basically mean the've all either rusted away, been stripped for parts etc, in other words there not a rare car when made like Impreza P1 etc eg not limited number made.

But of that year there will be alot less on the road, same with any car of that age

I read somewhere that they were coming in here from circa 93/94. I'll see if I can find the page, bookmarked on my PC at home hopefully.

According to how many are left, the 2000 turbo uk models were registered in 1996

And if you are really lucky its maybe 1 of the 25 prodrive specials made that year.

there would be a plaque on it identifying it

That's the wrong model name for 94-96. The one you're looking for is this one:

https://www.howmanyleft.co.uk/vehicl..._impreza_turbo

So the 94-96 pre-facelift UK cars maxed out at 2,200 (i.e. only about 2,200 were ever made) in '96. Latest info shows that in Jul-Sept last year there were 365 of these taxed and 317 on SORN. Its possible some of these are imports registered as "Impreza Turbo", so the true UK models are likely to be even less in number than that.

Bottom line - yes, the '94 UK cars are extremely rare beasts now, as they were never common in the first place.

I thought i'd done something wrong, so could be alot less than 682, more like 400. Thats pretty rare

Doubt very much it's a prodrive with the interior that came in it lol. It has all grey interior inc seats an door cards. Seats look like they came out of a micra, haha. I'm gradually changing it all over to black inc carpet
