Hi guys since owning the bug wrx it has a issue that's bugging me,
I can't seem to drive the car at low revs I.e 1400/1600 rpm in any gear with out it sounding like I'm in 5th at 20mph shaking and rattling.
Driving at 30mph on flat road in 4th it feels like I'm in 5th struggling
So I end up driving at 35mph at 1700rpm which is fine.or 30 in 3rd
Anything at 1600rpm onwards fine.
None of my other scoobs do it .
Cars stock but does have the make compition clutch and flywheel,
Any suggestions?

 

I had a similar issue with mine, I changed my y pipe for another reason and this seemed to fix it, not sure why and that wasn't the aim when i did it. I also cleaned the throttle body at the same time.

 

Lightweight flywheel related possibly.
