Default can anyone help

i was trying to find a write up about bug eye wrx mine the steering has started to knock only when warm/slow speed.
Id seen a previous write up about the centre diff binding causing this issue, the gearbox has been whining and starting to crunch in 1st anyhow...

does anyone know what im on about?

Hi

Steering knocks in what way?

The gearbox in the wrx are prone to fail, whining, crunching.
Best to try and get a replacement.

thank you for your reply, will try and source one. when cars gone for a 20min drive if i turn a corner at low speed it feels like the car is limping, clunking.

You sure it's not a worn CV joint ? Or a knackered shaft?

I'd take it to a garage who knows what they are looking at before you go spend one a box.

As above don't believe the first reply people send you until you give the full info

I had the same problem before was a knackered cv joint as the boot had burst.
If it is any breaker will carry one in stock relatively cheap fix

steering racks are known to go on the bugs as well so check that also. a cheap fix if its that they go for 40 quid off breakers on here.
