Looking to swop my broken TY754VN2AA for a TY754VN1AA do I need to change the diff or will it match ? Sorry dont have any other technical info.

All TY754VN boxes are uk boxes with 1:1.1 drop gears and 3.54 rear diffs so no need to change diff.

Could I ask what the differences are between the 1AA and 2AA boxes? Third gear on my 2001 Bugeye WRX decided to pack up this afternoon. I'm looking for a replacement and I'm not really clued up on the gearbox codes, so any info would be great. Thanks.

 

Found this as you can see what Arch said the vn boxes have the same ratios , there's no info for he 1AA

I am not exactly sure what the differences are they may be slight tweeks to synchro's bearings etc. I don't think the gear ratio's changed but not 100% sure but for certain the final drive is the same
