Right might seem like an odd question but I am right in saying the R160 rear diff as fitted to Bug WRXs is the right ratio to work with a UK spec 6 speed box?
Reason I ask is I'm thinking of fitting a 6 speed box to my Bug WRX project but don't want the hassle of hub swaps and the need to faff about with the brakes.
I'm not after huge power so the smaller diff will be fine.

Right done a bit of digging and it seems the UK 6 speed uses a 3.54 R180 rear diff. The UK WRX runs a 3.54 R160 rear diff so that would work with the box, yeah??
