I've just ordered some Castrol Universal 75W-90 Semi Synthetic*so I'm hoping that's the right one. I think the plus is fully synthetic.

That's the stuff I've got on order. Halfords have replaced it with comma equivalent now though. I got it from amazon.

Ok so the universal semi synthetic is best for the gearbox.. I ordered one litre of the uni plus fully synthetic.. Would that be ok to stick in the rear diff?

its no good for an LSD rear diff dependant on exact car spec??

personally tend to find both Millers & Motul comp fluids give longer lasting results than Syntrax

Had it in the diff but ends up noisy so swapped it out for fuchs 90ls oil what it says in the Jdm Sti 05 widetrack owners manual for rear diff .It back to quite no noise
I am running Castrol syntrax universial semi synthetic 75/90 gl5 in the 6 speed speed gear box .Runs perfect with it well it been in four years will need to change it .Pull the dipstick out and its still showing clean on dipstick
