Default 06 STI help needed please!!

Hi guys haven't made many posts so you won't be familiar with me but I've got a impreza sti on a 06. Currently on 75,000 miles and has a blitz nur spec r exhaust. Had her on a long run yesterday everything was sweet apart from the fuel stops haha. Anyways got in today to commute and it's a totally different car it's started to sound extremely raspy doesn't sound like a scooby no more I noticed yesterday that I could smell a slight warm burning smell gradually got worse today it's a lot worse. I've had the bonnet up and give it some revs defenetly not right and am now a bit worried can anyone help me with this? P.s I have subaru warranty that covers engine gearbox and diff.
Any help will be much appreciated thank you

So is just sound off with something burning (smels like oil, coolant or exhaust?), and no power loss?

It might be just some hole in exhaust?

Never wanted to boot it incase something bad happened to be honest mate. And Im not sure on the smell but it was quite a petroly smell to me I could be wrong. If I take her out soon and test see if there's any power loss and there isn't what could this mean?

Odd sound could indicate some flow of gases through lets say blown gasket or just hole in the exhaust pipes. That would explain odd sound (i guess your STI didnt upgrade to twinscroll by it self during night:P).

If something would be very wrong you would notice it even when deiving normal.

You didnt get any CEL and oil and coolant levels are normal?

Beliblisk, there is no power loss or CEL the car runs normal just that rattling tinny racket coming from under the bonet! Will ring subaru tomorrow and get it took back just hope it's covered under the (engine, turbo, diff) warranty I've got with the car if it was a manifold problem would this be classes as engine?

I bet it is nothing major, probably just one of the exhaust gaskets........cheap to replace
If it is anything bigger dont bother with official subaru dealers as its really easy to find parts here on SN.
