Width of a classic boot lid?

Can someone measure their classic boot lid width and let me know please.

Just ordered a M3 lip spoiler but not got my Scooby here and wondering if I will need to cut the lip!?

bummer means I need to loose 13cm! it has nicely tapered edges too so will have to chop in the middle and rejoin...
