Angry gb270 doesnt start

i tried starting the car this morning and it acted as if it had a flat battery.

i got a jump start and it started no problem, rulling out the starter motor.

when i got to work and stopped the engine then tried to re-start the engine it acted as if the battery was flat and wouldnt start.

I measured the battery voltage and it read 12.7v which rules out the battery being knackered.

The fact that the battery was fully charged after driving to work rules out the alternator.

HELP!!! whats going on????

Battery could still be flat. Just because it measures 12.7V doesn't mean it's charged.

I'd try to jump start it before looking at anything else.

Fat-thomas will be along any minute now to tell you your 2.5 pistons have all melted!

That is right on the borderline of ok really. They say that below 12.6V indicates it may be dead, but I would still try start the car with jump leads. Check the alternator when running by measuring the battery. Should be in excess of 13v when running.

Mine decided to **** itself this week too, trickle charger was on all weekend as usual and all was well according to my optimate 3 but it wouldn't start Monday morning, flat when I left work too.
It just wouldn't hold any charge and to be fair its about the only thing I havnt replaced so I was due a new one.
Bought a Bosch 005 and all is well again.

I just noticed blue corrosion around positive battery terminal. I'm gonna clean it tomorrow and see if that helps. Too skint to pay for any repairs.......
