Will i be able to retain my lower zunsport grille when fitting my japspeed front mount ?? and how much bumper needs cutting away ??? will a jigsaw and angle grinder do the job ?? are they generally straight forward to fit without too much bodging/fabrication ??

I found it pretty easy, I made mine fit without cutting any of the car because I don't like having to cut into the car.

Bumper I cut with a stanely knife as the bits that needed adjusting were pretty thin. Made for nice clean cuts as well. Don't go at that with a jigsaw or angle grinder.

A dremel also works well for that.

Shouldn't effect the lower grille.

Mine wasn't a Japspeed but only the pipework will differ, if it differs I don't know

 

Cheers buddy, ive seen lots of pics with the black plastic bumper trim removed with front mounts fitted and thats what my grille attaches too. Glad i dont have to get the angle grinder out lol

 

Well, I fitted a japspeed to mine and I required quite a lot of cutting to the front bumper, and that was giving the Intercooler the minimum amount of clearance. I used a hacksaw blade and held it with a welding glove.

 

 

I retained mine, but you will need to trim the mounts of and drill / bolt /zip tie it on your choice.
